Bob Ross Painting Classes

Our Bob Ross painting classes are perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. You'll learn the basics of Bob Ross's wet-on-wet technique and create beautiful landscapes in just a few hours.

Whether you're looking to create your first painting or perfect your technique, our Bob Ross painting classes are the perfect way to do it.  

All materials are included, so you don't have to worry about anything but having fun.

During this series students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and glazing of pottery projects. Intermediate students will learn to refine their throwing and decorating skills. New students will learn the basics and receive guidance while practicing and refining their skills.  Class size is limited and allows for great one to one instruction. For ages teen (16) through adult. Plan for +30 minutes clean-up after class time.

Dive hands-first into pottery without the wheel, molding clay directly with your fingers and tools. Ideal for both beginners and pottery enthusiasts. Our expert instructor will guide you through skills to make handcrafted works that tell the story of your creative journey.

Mixed Media Journaling 
with Etta Shehee

Unleash your creativity with our Mixed Media Art Journaling class!

You will blend text, paint, collage, and sketch to create your unique and personalized journal. Our experienced instructor, Etta Shehee, will guide you through the techniques of layering, texturizing, and color theory, allowing you to develop your own artistic voice. 

All students are encouraged to bring personal writings, clippings or personally meaningful items to immerse into your visual expressions.

Come Artists & Art Lovers

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, for artists and art enthusiasts to connect, share their insights, and build a vibrant art community.

Artists, bring your work, as each gathering offers a unique opportunity for honest yet positive feedback from diverse voices.

Art lovers, this is your chance to develop your critical eye, enhance your understanding of various art forms, and learn how to convey your thoughts clearly and respectfully.

Our aim is to foster growth and understanding among artists and art lovers alike.

CLASS & REGISTRATION POLICIES

Classes and workshops are filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Please note that no student’s space will be held without FULL PAYMENT of class fees.

Credit card payments accepted through registration on website or by calling 678-878-2818.

CANCELLATIONS

The Suwanee Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Full refunds (minus processing fee) are issued for cancelled classes. We make every effort to notify students of postponements and cancellations at least 24 hours before the first scheduled class. Dates and times are subject to change as necessary. The Suwanee Arts Center may elect to postpone a class in order to accept additional registrations to meet minimum enrollment requirements.

REFUNDS

To withdraw from a class or Lantern workshop and receive a refund, the request must be made at least 7 days prior to the first day of your class.

ABSENTEE POLICY

Make-up classes and credit for missed classes are different for each class. Please see instructor for details.

CLASSES & WORKSHOP POLICIES

We do not provide supervision of children before or after classes. We ask that you arrive promptly to all programs and do not leave children unattended. For parents who are late picking-up their child, Suwanee Arts Center will charge a $1.00 per minute late fee. The Suwanee Arts Center reserves the right to substitute instructors when necessary.

Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather or Gwinnett County Public School weather/holiday closings.
