ABOUT THE
EXHIBITION
OVERVIEW

The Suwanee Arts Center endeavors to enhance artist opportunities through the curation and hosting of multiple exhibitions annually. As an exclusive benefit for our esteemed Artist Members, we offer a substantial exhibiting tent during the Suwanee Arts Festival weekend. Participation is subject to jury selection, and space allocation will be finalized upon approval.

CRITERIA

Accepted media - includes but is not limited to:
-
oil, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, pastel, colored pencil, mixed media, printmaking, photography, fiber art, three-dimensional art, including ceramics, pottery, woodworking, metal, and sculpture and videography. Metal and/or acrylic photos ARE acceptable.

All 2D artwork and photography must be properly framed or at least 1 1/2” deep gallery wrapped with painted edges and no visible staples. Please limit size to no larger than 42" in either dimension.

All art must be wired to hang (no saw tooth hangers). 3D artwork must fit on a gallery pedestal or the artist must provide the pedestal.

Artwork must be for sale. SAC retains 30% commission of all works sold during the exhibit. Please price accordingly.

Entries must not violate copyright laws.

All accepted artwork must be hand delivered to the Suwanee Arts Festival with a legible identification label. Labels must include: Artist’s name, Title, Medium, and Price for artwork.

SAC reserves the right to refuse any submitted work which does not adhere to the guidelines listed, is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or improperly presented.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Each artist is responsible for insurance of his or her own artwork. While all care will be taken while art is being exhibited in the Suwanee Arts Center, SAC and its members or anyone working on the exhibition, assumes no responsibility for any damage to the artwork during delivery, installation and de-installation. SAC will not be liable for artwork not claimed after specified pick-up dates and time.

SAC Members only- $35 application Fee, Upon approval a $45 participation Fee. (Total Member's Tent cost is $80) A great value!!

You will receive an acceptance email informing you if your art has been ACCEPTED into the Art Festival Member's Tent Exhibition. We would like to include everyone's work in the exhibit; however, space is limited.

Set up of Exhibit Tent
Artists and volunteers needed to hang grid panels and place exhibiting structures.

Load in of all art. Instructions and times will be included in acceptance email.
